Situated four miles west of Figueres, near the village of Navata.
Torremirona is set in beautiful rolling countryside with panoramic views overlooking the snow-capped mountains of the Pyrenees. Torremirona has been constructed as an “American resort style course” with big greens surrounded by beautifully constructed bunkers.
This course will particularly suit the mid to high handicapper as the course is not as demanding as PGA Catalaunya or Mas Nou. It is immaculately maintained.
Similar to Peralada GC it has few trees, with more of an open landscape.
Torremirona is a top quality resort. The hotel, villas, restaurant, spa, superb golf course and practice facilities have all been constructed to the very highest standards.

A fair course, well constructed and in excellent condition

Torremirona golf course lies at the centre of a plain giving some splendid views of the foothills of the Pyrenees which are enhanced by the magnificent light and colours experienced in this natural setting.

The course is virtually flat and is easy to walk. It is an easy course to play although the fairways are not wide.
There are two demanding par 4s that suit the bigger hitters, the par 3 15th is a long hole and if the wind blows playing into the wind makes the holes feel significantly longer than their yardage.

The course does throw up regular surprises that will ensure you keep your concentration ensuring that it is a challenge for the better golfers whilst still being enjoyable for the less able, higher handicapped players.
