Course Overview
Royal County Down is set in an area of remarkable beauty - 'where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea'.
The numerous bunkers, the many blind tee shots and several partially obscured approach shots make this course a formidable challenge.
The course is reckoned to be one of the top three in the whole of Europe. The British Senior Open was held here in 2000.
