Penha Longa is a fabulous eighteen-hole course situated in Sintra, only twenty minutes from Lisbon. It forms part of the Protected Landscape Area of Sintra and Cascais.

Rated No. 31 in Continental Europe by Golf World magazine and host to two Portuguese Opens, Penha Longa Atlantic is an absolute must to play. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, this magnificent championship course is situated in beautiful countryside in the foothills of the Sintra Mountains and has been hewn out of rocky terrain to create a natural feel. The closing three holes are among the best in all of Europe, and the view from the elevated 18th tee is truly spectacular. Also on-site is the delightful 9-hole Monastery course.
