The PGA de Catalunya golf course on Catalonia's Costa Brava has been voted one of the ten best golf courses in Europe by Golf World magazine and one of its writers, Steve Carr, described it as the 'jewel in the crown'. October 2005 saw the opening of the new Tour Course at the PGA de Catalunya. The course has been planned and laid in the same meticulous way as the championship course but offers wider fairways and larger greens. The new course has given the PGA de Catalunya new impetus, offering golfers of all levels the chance to play on one of the best and most beautiful courses in Europe.
