Course Overview
This remarkable course is laid out in the pine forests of Les Landes (for 13 holes) and along the Atlantic coast (for five holes).
Moliets Golf Club is located 30 miles north of Barritz and eight miles north of Seignosse. The course welcomes you to a typical Robert Trent Jones design, where detail to style and the technical and strategic challenges reflect an in-depth knowledge of golf.
Course Details
While the more proficient golfer will find this a tough challenge, playing from the forward tees is funnily enough often more conducive to error.
The famous jagged bunkers are a remarkable form of defence for the greens, three of which are virtually blind, and the putting surfaces are neatly but never excessively contoured.
The closely cropped fairways at Moliets Golf Course help speed up the game and the sandy sub-soil keeps the course easily playable all year round.
The course is not tiring, but distances between holes are sometimes a little on the long side however a good adjoining 9 holes course is ideal for beginners, plus there is a very comprehensive training centre that is just the job for getting that handicap down
