It is probably the most scenically located course in Ireland. It is a challenging but fair layout making excellent use of the natural lie of the land.
The course on the one hand is overshadowed by the majestic MacGillicuddy Reeks mountain range, (including Carrauntouhill, Irelands highest mountain), and on the other it enjoys magnificent panoramic views of Dingle bay and the Slieve Mish range beyond.
