Golden Eagle is one of the most exclusive golf courses in Portugal. Its design is typical of the modern U.S. school and it is immaculately maintained.

Formerly called Golden Eagle, Quinta do Brincal is under new ownership and has really benefited from recent investment. Located close to Praia d'el Rey in a unique natural woodland setting, with trees coming right to the edges of the fairways, this long championship course provides a real test of accuracy. There's something of an American feel here, and target golf skills are required to avoid the water hazards and enormous bunkers. Well worth a visit if you're staying in the area.
