Course Overview
The course is characterised by its carefully conserved landscaping, with a large variety of trees and beautiful views of the Mediterranean.
The greens are generously sized whilst its fairways are somewhat narrower on the front nine, where more precision playing is required than on the back nine. The bunkers are white marmolina sand. The fairways are sown with Bermuda, except on certain holes where grass has been used, whilst the greens and tees have been sown with Pencross.
Course Details
Situated between El Paraíso, Monte Mayor and the Marbella Club Resort, Los Flamingos takes its name from the Los Famencos lake around which the 18-hole design is laid out.
The course is very enjoyable with a good mixture of both long and short holes. It is demanding for even the most experienced golfer, particularly the front nine holes. Just remember the views if you are not playing well – they are well worth the visit!
