El Paraiso's friendly atmosphere and traditional Irish style have made it very popular with Irish golfers. Set in the Paraiso valley, the course winds through hundreds of trees and crosses several hidden streams. The lush fairways are wide but are bordered by heavy rough, so accuracy off the tee is vital. The par 5 6th, where your drive must avoid two carefully placed bunkers and your approach to a two-tiered green must flirt with water, is regarded as the best on the course. El Paraiso is Spain's first Gary Player designed course and offers a good challenge whatever your standard.
