Course Overview
Located in the shadow of the majestic Benbulben mountain, this scenic links course overlooks three large beaches.
The winds blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean offer an extra challenge - 'when the winds blow, the only hiding place is to be found back in the clubhouse'.
From cliftop plateaus to beach side greens, this course, with its numerous meandering streams, provides an interesting and varied game.
It has been home to the West of Ireland Championship every year since 1923, except in 1997-9, due to work on the extra 9 holes.
It has had many famous visitors, including Manchester United’s Alex Ferguson.
