With its excellent variety of holes, the course is a pleasure to play, It demands both skill and tacticall play and is acknowleged both locally and internationally as one of Portugal's best constructed layouts.

Opened in 1998, It's also one of the most difficult - a score of 10 over par here would equate to about 4 over on most other courses.
The 1st hole won't exactly set your pulse racing, but just wait till you see the par 5 2nd, which has been compared with the 13th at Augusta. Pinpoint accuracy is required all the way round, but especially on the last two holes, where you must hit over water to reach the green.
Many outstanding holes can easily be remembered even after playing the course only once.
